It was November, and feeling very, very November. The sky had been a moody cloudy all day long, but this was Vida and Isaac's last opportunity to grab engagement photos because of their long drive up from Morgantown, West Virginia.
And then we got super lucky: in the last couple hours before sunset, the dark, heavy cloud cover lightened and began to break.
North Park isn't exactly a secret, but it certainly does have its secrets. Since parks are my favorite places to host photo sessions, I intentionally hunt for the quiet, lowkey gems that allow for less disruption, more privacy, and beautiful backdrops.
My MO is to provide guidance that encourages instead of controls, and then I step out of your way to let you do you. You're not performing for a camera — you're spending time together, enjoying the security and company that you uniquely share.
Vida and Isaac were a perfect match for a walk in the woods, with the most delightful combination of sweet affection, adventurous spirit, and joyous laughter.
